This specially designed itinerary begins a full week before the main event, allowing us to gradually build up the excitement and anticipation for Holi by traveling through select destinations rich in culture and tradition. The journey culminates in the spectacular and vibrant colour play on the festival's main day, immersing you fully in the joyous spirit of Holi.
Following the festivities, we will unwind and rejuvenate at exotic locations and stay in opulent palaces, allowing you to step back in time and truly feel the grandeur once experienced by the kings and queens who adorned these magnificent residences.
The festival is on March 4th, and our trip will start a week before. You can choose flexible start dates and add places you like. We keep our groups small but can allow larger groups if travellers know each other. This trip is perfect for friends, family and couples looking to make lasting memories.
On the 1st day of Holi, vibrant bonfires are ceremoniously lit after sunset at nearly every street intersection across India, creating a mesmerizing and lively spectacle that captivates all who witness it. The flickering flames illuminate the night, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. The 2nd day is joyously celebrated with an exuberant splash of colours and the traditional consumption of bhaang, a derivative of marijuana, adding a unique cultural depth to the festivities.
